Gene Desrochers Wins Award in Best Shorts Film Competition

The award for short film was given for Gene Desrochers’, The Kleptomaniac. In addition, The Kleptomaniac, received the Award of Merit for Cinematography for DP, John Rhode, and Lead Actor, Gene Desrochers as Rest. The Kleptomaniac features exceptional performances by Jorg Bierekoven and Shane Valentine, as well as a stormy, tense score by Black-Valentine that adds depth to the Los Angeles-based locations.
